I used to love this place. The food was so creative, fresh and flavorful. And it was always full of people. Hadn't been there in a long time but took a friend there recently. First clue that something was wrong: it was deserted at 6 p.m. on a Saturday. And during the hour and a half we were there, only a two more parties came in. I ordered the Bun salad with tofu, which used to be one of my favorites there. My friend ordered the Bun salad with egg rolls. Second clue: the waitress brought our orders from the kitchen within about two minutes. Nothing was freshly prepared. The tofu was tough and chewy. Dressing was flavorless. This place is just not what it used to be. They aren't even making an effort. Can't imagine it will be in business much longer. I know I won't be going back...

I personally love the crispy rabbit wontons with the curry sauce - one of the best atmospheres I’ve ever had..... But every now and then the service is HORRIBLE - My mother reserved a specific table to be in a quiet area, weeks before the day, at 3pm (hopefully a non busy time) after very helpful servers discussed with us a good quiet table..... she comes in 40min before the reservation for her book club - and they randomly seat the table 15min before 3. Front house guy was apologizing and freaked - they set up a table in the middle of the restaurant in the busiest/loudest area for her reservation for 10 people - then this guy that’s always there in fancier suits - starts legit verbally attacking my mother - telling her loudly I’d she didn’t like it she could leave. My mother was asking what was going on, she’s incapable of being rude.... he was ATROCIOUS to her..... beyond shocking. I’ve never heard of that kind of behavior from restaurant staff - especially at a 250$ tab?!? They all tried to deal - they ask if the music could be turned down at all, to no avail. I can’t believe how horribly she was treated - YELLING at her - for her just asking if they could wait for the table she had reserved

On the one hand, I want people to know how great this place is. The food is delicious, nuanced, and looks and tastes like it should be twice as expensive. On the other hand, I selfishly don't want too many people to know about it because they might get a lot busier and raise their prices. Fortunately for them and unfortunately for me, I'm sure that word will get out. In the meantime, I'm going to go there as much as possible while they're still flying under the radar.

There's limited parking space by the venue, but plenty of street and residential parking. Lunch hour can get busy. Still, pleasant ambiance and social space. Open bar available. Host was quick to welcome and seat us. Our waitress was prompt with the menu and drinks. She kept close attention to refill our water, and checked on us occasionally on our food. Loved the pork Banh Mi! There's a good amount of flavor-packed meat, and fresh veggies. Not too spicy. The baguette was toasted only enough to have a balanced crunch and soft bite; and less mess! I didn't really care for the fries. It is pricier for a Banh mi, especially when you can get one just as good or better for three times less the price I paid for this one. I'll probably visit again, once in a blue moon, just for the novelty of it, or if I have another lunch meeting nearby.

We had a meal of celebration for my son's graduation and everything was fantastic. Five different appetizers were great, as were the meals and dessert. Our server. Christ K. Was friendly and efficient. Great experience!
